Today we take a taxi (1800 baht for 5 hours) and we discover some interesting places in the south of the island of Phuket. Viewpoints, a buddha and a temple.
Kata View Point
A nice sea viewpoint along the west coast, but not much else to see.
Promthep Cape
The southern tip of the island. A charming site with a small elephant temple and a monument celebrating the Thai Navy and its heroes.
The Great Buddha
I had already presented you the Great Buddha of Kho Samui, splendid. This one is less elaborate and its environment seems unfinished. We are far from the splendor of the site of Koh Samui.
Wat Chalong
Magnificent temple, not far from the Great Buddha. The detour is worth it. Pay attention to your outfit which must be adapted to a place of meditation.
Ciao!
